College Age and Young Adults
Overview
The Young Adult's Ministry (YA) at PCC is a diverse group of 18-twentysomethings. Each of us are trying to live out our spiritual journey of belief and following Jesus Christ in a living relationship with God. In this community are four year and community college students (full and part time), post undergrad and graduate students, people working full time and part time and everyone in between. We are all sorts of unique and amazing people seeking to do life together on the Peninsula. We are everyone from software engineers, to artists, and nannies, Internationals, students, mechanics, athletes, single and married. We all seek to be a LIVING COMMUNITY and SERVING COMMUNITY centered on God.

Ministry Highlights
There is such a wide array of needs and wants in this very diverse group, but we uncovered that the young adults at PCC simply want to do life together. We don’t “run a program,” we want to live the life God intended us to live. It usually looks pretty organic but we are every intentional. Living together in community as young adults is centered on PCC’s four values of prayer, growth, service and celebration. Specifically we want to pray a lot together, focus on knowing and sharing the Bible, being generous by giving and helping others, and authentically being who God created us to be so we can enjoy the life he gave us. This looks like getting together and praying, eating, studying the Bible, working, playing, serving the poor, retreating, and more. We simply seek to share life as the church. In an effort to be a living and serving community we have the following available options.
From June 16th-August 18th, Tuesday Night, Red Morton Park will be filled with PCC young adults! For 10 weeks we'll gather every Tuesday Night to grill out, hang out, and live out our faith. Imagine ultimate Frisbee or Bocce Ball going on the lawn and others sitting around picnic tables talking about their day. Then we'll divide up into our groups and discuss CRAZY LOVE a great book by Francis Chan, available for $11 from Tony Gapastione, which will challenge you and help you make choices to grow in your faith! Registration is required and commitment to reading the book will be a part of our small group time! New groups are available if you aren't currently in a group now, and if you are in a group now, we invite you to join us on Tuesday Nights, contact tonyg@peninsulacovenant.com
