Sunday Children's Programs

Nursery care is a vital ministry of PCC that is provided during worship services, Sunday Congregational Groups, and other events as needed. This ministry enables adults to participate more fully in worship and classes, and it also serves as a vital introduction of young children to the family of God. Silent pagers are provided to all nursery parents.
Infant Nursery (birth to 12–18 months)
Gifted leaders love each little one in an appropriate nursery environment that provides sleeping and nursing rooms, age-appropriate toys, books and music. When these children become “steady on their feet,” at approximately 12-18 months, they are transitioned into the Toddler Nursery.
Toddler Nursery (12-18 months to 2-1/2 years)
The Toddler Nursery ensures a safe, clean, and loving environment where every child will feel loved, secure, and accepted. Children’s Leaders introduce Jesus through age-appropriate stories, activities, and songs.
Twos & Threes Class (2 1/2 years to Preschool)
This program is a first step into learning about God through age-appropriate stories, activities and songs. Children learn foundational Biblical truths such as "God made the World!" and "Jesus Loves Us!" Other activities include free play stations, outside play and snack time. Classes at 9:15 and 11:00am begin September 10th.

9:15am Good Shepherd
In this ministry, Children’s Leaders teach preschoolers through sensorimotor style of storytelling in which children experience the mystery, awe and wonder of God and learn to respond to Him. Parents are encouraged to arrange a visit to experience this ministry first hand.
11:00am Sunday Safari
This preschool ministry is an adventure in small groups. Very different from Good Shepherd, children build a relationship with God, their peers, and their Leaders by rotating through creative and fun learning centers. Each center reinforces the Bible point of the day. There is also an exciting story presentation.

9:15am Sunday School
(Kinder, 1st/2nd, 3rd-5th)
Children are given opportunities to dig into God’s Word and learn basic biblical truths through a variety of activities led by our dedicated volunteer shepherds.
11:00am Kids Worship (Kindergarten, 1st-5th)
1st through 5th children worship (Kindergarten is separate) and learn about our Lord in a large group experience. Pastor Jeff leads this group with age-appropriate worship songs and Bible truths and stories that mirror what is being taught in adult worship. There is also a small group time designed to enhance the learning process by applying what is learned in their lives.

Infant & Toddler Nursery (babies from birth to 2 years)
At this evening service Children’s Leaders love and care for babies and younger children in a safe and playful environment for all.
Good Shepherd (3-9 years old)
This Good Shepherd program mirrors that of the 9:15am service. The uniqueness of this ministry style provides learning and fun in worship for a wide range of ages and educational levels.

9:15am His Kids Choir (1st-5th)
His Kids is an exciting worship experience through music and stage performance. The choir performs on a regular basis in church gatherings, around Christmas time, as well as a large stage production in the Spring. Contact Melanie Seybert for more information.
