Sunday Children's Programs
- Birth to Two Years -- Sunday Morning
- Nursery care is a vital ministry of PCC that is provided during worship services, Sunday Congregational Groups, and other events as needed. This ministry enables adults to participate more fully in worship and classes, and it also serves as a vital introduction of young children to the family of God. Silent pagers are provided to all nursery parents.
- Infant Nursery (birth to 18 months)
Gifted leaders love each little one in an appropriate nursery environment that provides sleeping and nursing rooms, age-appropriate toys, books and music. When these children become “steady on their feet,” at approximately 18 months, they are transitioned into the Toddler Room.
- Toddler Room (18 months to 2-1/2 years)
The Toddler Room ensures a safe, clean, and loving environment where every child will feel loved, secure, and accepted. Children’s Leaders introduce Jesus through age-appropriate stories, activities, and songs.
- Preschool -- Sunday Morning
- Twos & Threes Class (age 2 1/2 years until enter Preschool)
This class is a first step into a structured routine learning about God through age-appropriate stories, activities and songs. Children learn foundational Biblical truths such as "God made the World!" and "Jesus Loves Us!" Other activities include free play stations, outside play and snack time. This class is offered at 9:15 and 11:00am.
- 9:15am Hands-On Bible (Preschool & Pre-K)
In this ministry, our children’s leaders teach preschoolers through experiential activities and storytelling that bring the Bible to life in relevant ways. Music Man Martin brings his gift of music to lead the children in a short time of worship in song.
- 11:00am Sunday Safari (Preschool & Pre-K)
This preschool ministry is an adventure in small groups. Children build a relationship with God, their peers, and their leaders by rotating through creative and fun learning centers. Each center reinforces the Bible point of the day. There is also an exciting story presentation and music.
- Elementary (K-5th) -- Sunday Morning
- 9:15am 252 Basics Class (Kinder – 3rd, 4th – 5th)
Children are given opportunities to dig into God’s Word and learn basic biblical truths through a variety of activities led by our dedicated children’s leaders using 252 Basics curriculum which focuses on making wise biblical decisions in every day life situations.
- 11:00am Kids in Worship & 252 Basics Class (Kinder / 1st, 2nd / 3rd, 4th / 5th)
After joining their families for a short time of worship and then a children’s message in “big church”, the children are invited to their classes. The lessons mirror the 9:15 class (see above), but the activities that follow the lesson will vary from the first class.
- Sunday Night Gathering (5:30 – 7:00pm)
- Infant Nursery (birth to 18 months)
Gifted leaders love each little one in an appropriate nursery environment that provides sleeping and nursing rooms, age-appropriate toys, books and music. When these children become “steady on their feet,” at approximately 18 months, they are transitioned into the Toddler Room.
- Toddler Room (18 months to 2-1/2 years)
The Toddler Room ensures a safe, clean, and loving environment where every child will feel loved, secure, and accepted. Children’s Leaders introduce Jesus through age-appropriate stories, activities, and songs.
- Good Shepherd (3-9 years old)
In this ministry, children’s leaders teach children through sensorimotor style of storytelling in which children experience the mystery, awe and wonder of God’s Word and learn to respond to Him. Parents are encouraged to arrange a visit to experience this ministry first hand. The uniqueness of this ministry style provides a special place of worship for a wide range of ages and educational levels.
- His Kids - Children’s Choir
- 11:00am His Kids (Kinder - 5th)
His Kids is an exciting worship experience through music and stage performance. The choir helps lead on a monthly basis in church gatherings (Oct – May), as well as working diligently to prepare for a large stage production in early June. Contact His Kids director, Melanie Seybert, for more information.
