Bayshore Christian Ministries is a Christian nonprofit organization in the East Palo Alto, CA community. We target at-risk youth in East Palo Alto and eastern Menlo Park, offering academic support and a chance for them to develop spiritually while they realize their leadership potential.

First Resort is a Christian ministry with a vision to build the Bay Area into a community where abortion is neither desired nor seen as needed. We provide complete, accurate information and compassionate counseling and medical care to women making decisions about unintended pregnancies. In addition, we encourage sexual abstinence among teenagers through personally challenging, medically sound classroom presentations and other materials. Everything we do is focused on allowing people to make healthy, informed and livable choices.

CityTeam ministries exists to reach children and their families in East Palo Alto with the love of Christ. In order to accomplish this we provide weekly bible studies, camping trips, home visits, one-on-one discipleship, tutoring, and mentoring. In addition, we intervene in family crisis situations, provide counseling, and assist families in attaining additional needed resources for their household.

Verbo Family Services exists to "Empower low-income families in the Fair Oaks community of Redwood City to lead transformed lives". Verbo offers services that meet families needs spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally. Some of the services provided include tutoring, mentoring, English classes, parenting classes, counseling, home visits and home Bible studies. Volunteers are needed for all programs. Ability to speak Spanish is not required but helpful.

Street Church’s goal is to love and serve people that the world ignores and bring them the hope of Jesus Christ. We are a presence two times a week where we serve dinner, distribute socks, blankets, toiletries and bus passes. We listen, pray, and help however we can. We have quarterly large outreaches like Thanksgiving dinner, Easter brunch and summer BBQ’s. We love by listening, praying, encouraging and laughing at the bus stop in Menlo Park.
Come Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 pm - 10:30 PM at the Menlo Park bus/train station (behind Café Barrone).
