Update on Worship Pastor Search

01.16.08 Matt Nightingale, Pastor of Worship, offered his resignation effective March 31, 2008.

02.05.08 Gary Gaddini, Lead Pastor, sends out a church-wide letter describing the process for moving forward with the Worship Department as:

1. Celebrate Matt and ensure a God honoring departure;

2. Create an interim plan and structure that maintains our standards, values and serves the ministry plan for PCC in our worship gatherings;

3. Creatively and prayerfully develop the infrastructure that will best serve Worship Ministries for the direction God is calling us to for the future; and

4. Seek the personnel called by God to serve Him at PCC through the newly designed structure.

03.30.08 The Nightingale family were honored at an evening gathering in Fellowship Center, filled with happy memories of their time with us. (#1 above)

04.02.08 The worship structure team met for the first time to develop a vision for the worship department going forward. John Seybert is facilitating the process. The recommendation of this team will be given to Council for approval.

05.15.08 Beginning to interview interim worship directors.
