Serving Our Community

Peninsula Covenant Church believes that when Jesus said “Love your neighbor” he meant for us to do that in tangible ways.   We believe there is an opportunity for the Church to serve the community and we are driven by the desire to become an integral part of meeting the real needs of the community around us in the loving name of Jesus.  Our hope is that our people make “loving their neighbors” part of their everyday lives and encourage people to connect with community blessing opportunities in their area of giftedness and passion.

Some of the specific areas we are currently serving include:

  • Beautiful Day WeekendsOur next event is currently scheduled for May 16-18, 2008.  Various community blessing projects will take place with Redwood City School District, Habitat for Humanity, Blood Drive, Coat Drive, Baskets of Blessing for local fire fighters and police officers.  Check out the Beautiful Day Video.  Get involved by contacting Daisy Segal.
