The Bible is “God-breathed” (2 Tim. 3:16) in that God inspired human authors to create an errorless text of the exact message God desired to give people. The Bible presents God’s interactions with people in bringing us a history of redemption.
We hold the Bible as the supreme and final authority for the church and the individual believer (2 Pe. 1:21; 2 Tim. 3:16-17; 1 Cor. 2:13; 1 Thes. 2:13). The Word of God is eternal and enduring (Psalm 119:89). Jesus Himself taught that the Bible was truth (John 17:17), infallible, (John 10:35), authoritative, (Matt. 4:4,7,10) and historically accurate, (Matt. 12:40; 24:37). We as a church and as believers grow in the Kingdom of God when we submit to and saturate ourselves in God’s Word. We treasure the Bible and search it’s pages for guidance about the values, spiritual life, beliefs and moral choices we live by (Prov. 25:2, Psalm 119:15, 133).
The Scriptures alone contains God’s design for life and carry the very authority of God Himself. (Gal. 1:12, Psalm 138:2). Top
